Urgent story： The disappearance of positive values and beliefs
With the development of the times, the moral values of many people in contemporary society have changed for various reasons.
These people seem to no longer believe in the blessings brought by religious gods to themselves, nor does religious morality constrain them.
Therefore, this project mainly aims to awaken those who have lost their positive values and forgotten their original aspirations through public installation art and humanistic art to regain their original aspirations and strengthen their original beliefs.

This device draws inspiration from the image of the sea god Yu Jiang in the classic Chinese Taoist theology, Shan Hai Jing.
The reason for choosing this deity is that Taoism has a wide audience in China and even the world.
In addition, Yu Jiang has been gradually forgotten due to historical processes, and the location I have chosen is also on Hainan Island, which is full of traditional Chinese cultural atmosphere.
Therefore, choosing this deity is in line with my original intention of choosing the project theme.

The device comprises countless wooden blocks pieced together to form a wing shape, scattered in various parts of the village, forming the Taoist idea of light spreading to all living beings.

Based on the feeling of protection from the masses, I awakened their initial faith. Then, I made a sacrificial platform connected to the device through the snake shape.

Ideal and sketch
The installation of this project is made up of countless wooden blocks pieced together.
To showcase the fleeting feeling, I plan to light it up during the climax of the exhibition.
The purpose of doing so is to demonstrate the effect of sacrifice and the gradual disappearance of people's beliefs and beliefs towards gods.
After burning, two-time points will be recorded to record how the gods disappeared in the sacrificial installation that originally had faith, thus arousing the audience's reflection.
